Sausage Dip

Quick and easy warm dip

Ingredients:
1 pound sweet, mild, or hot sausage
1 8 oz. package cream cheese
1 small can Rotel tomatoes with green chiles
(mild, hot or roasted)
Tortilla chips or Scoops
Directions:
Remove casing from sausage. Brown in 2 tbsp. oil breaking it up as it cooks on medium heat. Drain excess oil when sausage is browned. Add the cream cheese cooking on low heat until cream cheese is melted. Drain and add the Rotel tomatoes cooking on low heat until well mixed, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and serve with the tortilla chips or scoops.
Cook's Notes:
You can make this as spicy as you like. If using hot sausage use the hot Rotel tomatoes with chiles. If you prefer milder, use mild or sweet Italian sausage and the mild Rotel tomatoes with green chiles.
